Hi, I'm Eric, and I am a NCFS Certified Trainer (2014) and a Personal Cook who attended the Culinary Institute of America (2010). I grew up playing various sports such as basketball, bowling, speed skating, baseball, and fencing. At age 7, I began studying Kumite Ryu JuJitsu with Master Lil John Davis. It was at a very young age that my passion for fitness really ignited but wasn't pursued until working at Equinox in 2013. Since then, I have developed my training by getting certified and building a regime by working with a variety of people from friends in the military to other personal trainers over the years. Constantly adapting my program to the needs of my new clients with the ongoing advances in the personal training.

Contact me today to find out how I can help to transform your life.

~Health is Wealth~

In my opinion with good health, you have the time, energy and strength to overcome any obstacle that tries to slow you down. Whether it be mental or physical with good health anything is achievable.

~Personal Trainer~

Personal Training isn't just a job to me. It's a way for me to help people move better, play harder and live long. A trainer doesn't just know a lot about the human body but has to have a good understanding of emotions and people. A trainer should have a good moral compass. A trainer should be able to judge someone's effort and character. A trainer guides, teaches and motivates their client to do something they don't want to do.  Being a trainer is my way of giving back.

~Core is Key~

I believe it all starts with the core. If you core is strong you can do any workout with practice. Without a strong core your back will hurt. Your core is not just the abs you see (rectus) but all the ones you don't (transverse).

~Cardiovascular Health~

Cardio is important, if you train with me, you will do it. Not with me, that's a waste of time. Cardiovascular health is just as important as if not more important than core. Without an adequate amount of air your muscle will not work. Cardio is not just running; I love to run but I also know how hard it is on the joints. There are lower impact cardio workouts such as riding a bike or swimming.

~Neutral Spin~

I'm firm on my belief in good posture, which goes hand and hand with a neutral spin. Good posture aids in keeping airways and arteries flowing smoothly. Good posture also allows our lungs to inhale a optimal amount of oxygen (and we know how good oxygen is for muscles). I don't believe in breaking form to for the sake of lifting heavier, that's where injuries occur. Good posture also keeps our heads high which gives us confidence.

~Balance~

Amongst all of my beliefs and philosophies I believe in balance over everything. I believe you should find balance in every aspect of life to achieve what you desire. I don't believe in depriving yourself of a food you've loved forever because it is unhealthy. I believe you have to work extra hard to earn it. Health is not just about being strong. I believe you should be strong, flexible, balanced, fast and stable. You should have a strong core not just the muscles you can see.

~Teens~

I can help and train any kind of person from an old man having trouble standing and sitting to a bus driver or chef who has horrible posture from the demanding hours from their jobs. My target audience are teenage student and young professionals. When we are teens it's hard to get most of us to sit down. Then we go to college where we are taught to sit and prioritize our finances over our health. I enjoy being that gap that encourages the youth to continue to work out and stay in shape and find balance between health and wealth.
